About me
Hi! I’m Brittany Wray. I grew up in Plano, Texas, spent eight years in New York, and in 2018, I married my husband, Christopher, and we made Nashville our home. Our little family wouldn’t be complete without our two long-haired, stubborn-but-sweet Dachshunds, Bella and Trace, and in 2024, we welcomed our first daughter—our world just got a whole lot brighter!
I’ve always loved capturing life’s little moments. As a kid, I went around taking pictures of everything—friends, family, even small everyday details—thinking I was writing my own biography, telling the story of my life through my photos. That curiosity and love for capturing meaningful moments became the foundation for my photography today.
My favorite part of being a photographer is getting to know the families I work with. I love creating that connection, learning about their personalities, and capturing the little moments that make each family unique. I want every session to feel relaxed and fun—like you’re hanging out with friends—while still giving you beautiful images you’ll treasure forever.
I’ve also spent over 10 years as an ABA therapist, building lasting relationships with families I still keep in touch with today. I also teach at Move Inclusive Dance Studio, which allows me to connect with people of all ages and abilities. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and seeing each person’s individual strengths—values I carry into every photography session.
Photography for me is about more than pictures—it’s about capturing life as it really is, with all its love, laughter, and personality. I’d be honored to help preserve your family’s story.
Outside of photography
I’m a lover of all things DIY—from small crafts to building projects! I also enjoy hiking with friends, baking cookies, and teaching dance and fitness classes. Life is full of little joys, and I try to celebrate them in everything I do.
